As a small reminder, the second webinar on Marketing Your Business Online will be streamed live today at 15:00 BST, 16:00 CET and 17:00 EET.

The aim of these live events on digital tourism is to offer a complete insight into what it means to be small or medium sized business welcoming visitors in 2015. Whether an attraction, hotel, tour operator or a destination, this seminar serves to run through key marketing basics.  It will explain the ‘visitor buying cycle’, with a particular focus on digital media and how technology is shaping and informing travel decisions.  It will show the many opportunities at each stage and how businesses should harness knowledge of their business and customers to succeed.

Please note that live viewing of this event may not be available in all countries, due to licensing agreements. The recording of all the events will be available shortly after the webinars from the following link.

The EU Commission DG GROW, in charge of the EU Tourism Policy, is organizing a number of online seminars on Digital Tourism between January and April 2015.

The webinars aim to provide support, insight and guidance on digital issues to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the tourism industry, as well as practical advice on the day-to-day running of a business.

The seminars will examine recent trends in tourists’ use of technology to discover, plan and share their travel experiences. Each webinar will be led by an industry expert.
